Young family brings new energy to Green Springs Inn
Sean and Vanessa Vicino reopened the Green Springs Inn restaurant in
early June, bringing enthusiasm and lots of elbow grease to the challenge
of renovating the popular Southern Cascades food and lodging destination.
Vanessa grew up in the mountains and counts on four generations of relatives to support the reborn Inn. Vanessa learned the food service business from the ground up in leading Southern Oregon bistros. More recently she built a successful real estate practice in the Rogue Valley.
Sean grew up working in a cafe that his parents owned and operated for 30 years in Watsonville, CA. More recently he was employed by the City of Ashland Public Works Department.
Sean and Vanessa are introducing three offspring to the family restaurant tradition: daughters Melanie, 12, and Kaylee, 9, along with son, Ayden, who will celebrate his first birthday in August.
